Booking Rules

• Individual Court Bookings
  • The courts can be booked 14 days in advance from 11 am. In other words, when booking to play 14 days in advance the new booking sheet only becomes available from 11 am -- all other playing times within 14 days can be booked 24/7.
  • For the first hour after 11am when a new booking sheet becomes available, each member may only book one court at peak times. A second court for the same day may be booked anytime after midday
  • A member must be present when a court they have booked is used - you cannot book a court for other people to play on.
  • Members may not allow other people to use their login credentials to book courts.
  • Members should select their playing partner / opponent's name to show on the booking sheets.
  • Maximum 2 advance bookings per member per day, more can be booked on same day playing.
  • Trial membership only allows booking Group Sessions on the same day.
  • Corporate Off-Peak, Off-Peak, and Over 70s Off-Peak members may only use the courts at off-peak times.
  • Peak-times:
    • Monday to Friday from 5pm onwards
    • All-day Saturday and Sunday
    • All other times are off-peak.
  • The booking fees are displayed on the booking sheets.
  • Junior members are entitled to reduced booking fees at off-peak times.
  • Guest Fees
    • If you're playing a Guest (non-member), then you must select one of the following guest fees as your playing partner to show on the booking sheets.
      • Guest Badminton Off-Peak £9
      • Guest Badminton Peak £12
      • Guest Junior £4
      • Guest Squash £9
    • You must select one guest fee for every guest, eg if playing doubles with 3 guests, you must select 3 guest fees.
    • The system will automatically charge the guest fee(s) to your booking system account by adding it to the booking fee(s) already paid..
    • If you're no longer playing a Guest, you can change your playing partner/opponent to a member, and the Guest Fee will be removed.
    • This can be done when you book the court or any time before playing (but you cannot do this after your booking start time).
• Group Sessions
  • Can be booked 14 days in advance from 11 am. In other words, when booking a place within a group session 14 days in advance the booking process only becomes available from 11 am -- all other group sessions within 14 days can be booked 24/7.
• Member Accounts
  • Each Member has an account within the booking system and must have credit in order to book a court.
  • You can purchase credit (£30 minimum) with any credit/debit card when logged into this website.
  • Your transaction will be securely processed by Stripe.
  • Members can share booking fees by using the facility to Transfer Credit when logged into the court booking system website. On the day playing, each member will receive a Booking Reminder email message which, for the "playing partner(s) / opponent(s)", contains a link to facilitate sharing the cost of the booking fee paid by the member who booked the court.
• Late-Cancellation Policy:
  • When unable to use a reserved court, members should cancel as soon as possible so that others may use the court.
  • The booking fee is automatically refunded as system credit only when the booking is cancelled more than 48 hours prior.
  • There is no refund when a court booking is cancelled within 48 hours, unless the same court and start time is re-booked -- in this case the booking fee is automatically refunded.
  • There is no refund when a Group Session is cancelled within 48 hours, however, if the session becomes fully booked, then all late-cancellation charges are automatically refunded.
