Squash 57 (Racketball) Club Championship
Dear member,
The Squash 57 Club Championship will be held between 20th January and 14th March.
Some of you may have known Squash 57 as Racketball in the past. It is played with a bigger & bouncier ball, a bigger racket & the rallies are generally much longer!
Anyone entering can borrow rackets & balls from reception which will be left there for the duration of the tournament.
This will be a knockout style tournament with a plate event for first round losers. All matches will be best of 5 games, point a rally to 11 (2 clear points at 10 all).
The entry deadline on MyCourts (go to "tournaments") is the 19th January. Once the draw has been released on 20th January then you can organise each round with your opponent and then send your result to philip@wimbledonclub.co.uk so that the draw can be updated.
The finals evening will be played on Friday 14th March at 8pm, following on from the Friday Club Night.
We look forward to seeing some new Squash 57 players! (The rules are the same as squash so there is no excuse for giving it a go!)
