Squash Club Championships - Thurs 16th May
Dear member,
Following on from another thrilling night of club championship squash, tonight is going to be another cracker!
Last night saw three enthralling five set matches in the main event plate where Natalie Machin overcame Luke Mannion 11-9 in the fifth, in the gold semi-final where Sohaib Wasim won in the fifth against Richard Hunter and finally in the main event semi-final where Phil Rushworth came from two games down to overcome a fine performance from Charlie Griggs.
Tonight will showcase another night of high drama where two of the countries finest juniors Jake Johnston and Gabriel Chak will go head to head for a place in the semi-final, where the winner will meet Matty Powell in the semi-final on Friday evening.
We also have the junior championship final between Jaanshere Khan and Joe Colton to look forwards to, as well as the Gold final between Sohaib Wasim and Simon Hancock.
