Badminton Graded Session Members

Dear Session Members,
Thank you for joining our graded sessions.
Below is some information about these sessions.
There are 5 different grades.
There is always going to be a bit of difference in players abilities within each graded
session, as each grade has many players.
And as the graded sessions are meant to be friendly, and meeting new people, we hope
that you will mix and play with everyone in the session regardless of ability so everyone
enjoys the camaraderie this encourages.
The sessions are run on the principle of 4 people on court with 4 people waiting to go on
next, so with 4 courts (16 players) the expectation is a maximum of 32 in a session. If
and when more turn up, the Badminton Committee will do its best to release another
court, but please bear in mind it takes 2 weeks to adjust the courts.
The peg board system is there to ensure fair play when picking games. IE : you are not
allowed to pick beyond the agreed line. Any one observing unfair picking, please inform
the session rep . We expect everyone to be courteous to each other.
Each session is run by a session rep, who controls shuttles and ensures fair play and is
the one to turn to if any problems arise.
The shuttles used are those chosen by the club as the most cost effective.
Most sessions run there own teams and we encourage you to try to represent your
session and the club.
We hope you continue to enjoy these sessions.
Regards
Badminton Committee
