Court Availability During Lighting Upgrade

Dear Badminton Members,

As part of the exciting lighting upgrade project on courts 1-7, we’d like to provide an update on court availability during the first two weeks of February. While we understand this may cause some inconvenience, we truly appreciate your patience as we work to improve your playing experience.

Week 1: Monday 3rd February – Thursday 6th February
Courts 5-7: Closed entirely for upgrade work.
Courts 1-4: Available for booking up until 5pm:

Monday 3rd to Wednesday 5th February
From 5:00 pm onwards: Courts 1-4 will not be available due to Academy and graded sessions.

Thursday 6th February
Lunchtime Open Session: Reduced to 4 courts.

Graded A Session: Reduced to 3 courts, leaving 1 court available for booking for members from 7pm.

Week 2: Monday 10th February – Friday 14th February

Courts 1-4: Closed entirely for upgrade work.
Courts 5-7 (with new lighting): Available for booking up until 5:00 pm.

From 5:00 pm to Close: Academy and graded sessions will take place.

Graded sessions: Limited to 3 courts, with reduced drop-in numbers to ensure sessions run efficiently.

Thursday Lunchtime Session: Reduced to 3 courts with reduced capacity.

We are confident that the new lighting system will significantly enhance your playing experience and appreciate your understanding during this temporary disruption.

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Kind regards,
WRFC
